Our Story
A name Madras has trusted for four generations.
One shop, one family, one address in George Town since 1934. Founded as Perumal & Co by Late Sri Revoor Padmanabha Chetty, the firm took its present name — Giri & Co — at its golden jubilee, in tribute to family elders who shaped its way of working.
Our ghee is still prepared every single morning, melted slowly from snow-white butter sourced from villages around Uttukuli in the Coimbatore belt. No preservatives. No shortcuts. Just the same granular, deep-aroma ghee our grandparents would recognise.
